A psychiatric nurse would have a nursing degree with an emphasis in psychiatry and most likely works in a hospital or for a psychiatrist. A psychotherapist, more commonly known as clinical psychologists, are counselors who help people with psychological disorders through psychotherapy techniques.
A clinical psychologist has to go to school for four years to get a bachelors degree and then has to spend another four (or more) years getting their Ph.D or their Psy.D
